Bob Doerning Memorial Scholarship

The Bob Doerning Memorial Scholarship was established in 2018 iin memory of Bob Doerning  Bob spent 38 years as an English teacher at Webster City High School from 1963-2001. He spent a total of 41 years in education.

Scholarship amount: $1,000

Criteria:

  • The recipient will be a current graduating Webster City High School Senior.
  • The recipient will be planning to attend college full time in the fall.
  • The recipient will be planning to major in education.

Deadline: April 15


The WCHS Commpon Scholarship Application will be used. In the personal letter to the committee, the applicant will include his/her reasons for choosing a career in education.
